The Ryder Cup, let the battle commence

Post by stuart.uk »

Well Nick Faldo has picked his team and I image the same is true of Paul Azinger. It should be a great spectacle that is hopefully played in a sporting manner by both sides. No Colin Montgomerie this time, he just hasn't played well enough this year to get a wild card. Darren Clarke after a lean period won a couple of weeks back, but that still wasn't enough to include him. Faldo's two picks were Ian Poulter and Paul Casey.

I just want to say as a European, congratulations to the victorious American golf team for regaining The Ryder Cup. It's good that Europe having won three in a row that America winning will probably generate even more interest for the next RC in two yrs time in Wales.
