Hey, Chris - congratulations. I hope things are going OK.

The Thief of Baghdad and The Jungle Book are on tonight on TCM (after The Scarlet Pimpernel, in which I have no interest, but you may like it). Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like Sabu, no?

Happy birthday, Chirs! How fitting that a moderator be born in that most balanced and harmony-seeking sign of Libra!
Best to you!

Happy birthday Chris! No wonder you are the peacemaker here..born under the sign of Libra, may the scales always be balanced for you. You bring so much to this board, and we all thank you for it!

Thank you all so much. I had no idea that anyone knew besides Carol (inglis.)

Having a lovely day. My bride and I took a long drive down through Southern Maryland enjoying the change of leaves. It is grand to check in with my friends anytime. Too bad we're not all together for cake and M&Ms.

This is quite a lovely surprise.

Hi Chris,

Happy Birthday!

Hope all your days will be sunny and full of good cheer.
You are very much respected here and one of only a dozen or so, on various message boards I've been on over 4 years, whom I still care about...

Did you pig out on cake & ice cream?? You'll know when you've had too much when your family & friends call you and you say, "Oink!!".......

Love Ya!

I should add that Chris's contributions to this site are incredible. I don't think it would run without him. Since I'm largely absent these days because of work, new girlfriend, political campaigns and two organizations that I have leadership roles with in real life, it's good to know that SSO is in such capable hands (that goes for moira and the other mods too).

Thank you all for the wishes and kind words. I really enjoy this place and everyone here. I appreciate Jon & Moira entrusting me with the responsibility to help.

All of you bring such interesting perspectives to movies that there is always something to learn and something at which to laugh. You are a great group.

Your humble and old servant,
Chris
