On a cold and grey November day forty-five years ago the course

to reflect and wonder...

DJ Mook is giving thanks for many things this week.
A few items on my list: the amazingly wonderfully fabulous
RECORD PARTY ... and a couple of songs that always
get me up & dancing on a Monday morning:

COOL JERK - THE CAPITOLS

IF YOU WANT TO BE HAPPY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE -

Great road trip! (And, believe it or not, Stacey had one, too. Something
about having a drink with friends. And Mom & Dad apparently didn’t
make the cut.) Now, if yesterday happened to be Motown Monday at the
Record Party, then today must be Tower Tuesday!

IAN WHITCOMB “This Sporting Life”

FREDDIE & the DREAMERS “You Were Made for Me”

The STANDELLS “Barracuda”

MAX FROST & the TROOPERS “Shape of Things to Come”

The ol’ DJ Dewey was a-readin’ my mind, requiring a slight revamping
of the playlist (although, can “Beg Me” be heard too often?). Ohhh, what
wonders on Wednesday? Let’s wave the magic wand and Wand Wednesday
continues with…

The ISLEY BROTHERS “Twistin’ with Linda”

CHUCK JACKSON “I Don’t Want to Cry”

MAXINE BROWN “It’s Gonna Be Alright”

The CHARTS “Desiree”

And one more expression of thanks, from me to all of you:

Andrew Gold - Thank You For Being a Friend
