Re: DEWEY'S RECORD PARTY!
Am I coming late to this party? I just received this from a friend, never heard of them before, but they are incredible!

Today, May 4th, my girl Cait would have have turned 26; instead, she's forever 25.
We're having a birthday party for her with her kids today, so I know she'll be nearby.
Here's some of her faves:

Re: DEWEY'S RECORD PARTY!
Klon, a dear friend lost her son several years ago, and we always have a birthday party for him.
Happy Birthday, Cait. You are a cherished part of so many lives, some of whom only know you thru your pop, but we feel like we "know" you, too.

For our last morning in Montreal celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary,
we went to the Musee des Beaux-Arts to see a special exhibit commemorating
the 40th Anniversary of a special Montreal event – the Bed-In for Peace. The
exhibit, Imagine, organized by YOKO ONO, featured:
JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO “Two Virgins (Part 1)”

PLASTIC ONO BAND “Give Peace a Chance”

JOHN ONO LENNON “Instant Karma (We All Shine On)”

JOHN LENNON PLASTIC ONO BAND “Imagine”

JOHN & YOKO and the PLASTIC ONO BAND “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)”

Re: DEWEY'S RECORD PARTY!
It's Mrs. K's birthday!
How many candles?
Listen, I've dodged combat-zone bullets, survived Mexican tapwater and braved the challenge of the Yukon, but I'm not foolhardy enough to risk answering that!
Anyway, in tribute to my lovely bride (whom I can still make blush), here's a combo of music from 2 of her favorite artists - women nearly as strong of spirit as she is:

Re: DEWEY'S RECORD PARTY!
Hey, I'm seeing Stevie (and Fleetwood Mac) on June 11 at Madison Square Garden. And - guess what? I already saw this show in March, but my friends (including my 24 year old daughter) are such Stevie fiends -- ooops, I mean fans -- that they are forcing me to go again. I enjoyed it last time, but I just can't take that volume level any more, so I'm going to bring earplugs to this one to help minimize the damage (we're sitting even closer to the stage this time).
The last show was very much The Lindsay Buckingham Show, with Stevie as hostess, but she had some very nice shawls. I saw her at Jones Beach last summer, and I liked that show better, just Stevie, no Larry/Mick/John. It's interesting to me that the Mac concert audience was primarily male, whereas the Stevie solo audience was primarily female.
This Mac tour seems to be a long one -- have they played/will they play in New England?
