As a teenager, I thought Sal Mineo was tops, but looking at his photo now, he looks like such a baby :!: :!: :!:
I don't mean that as everyone looks like baby at my age, tho sometimes they do, but compare photos of Frankie Avalon and Fabian at the same age as Sal and you can see the beginning of mannish characteristics that are not apparent on Sal.

mongoII wrote:Judith, you are correct. After I double checked, Marlowe's image was directly under the image of Mantee and I clicked on the wrong actor.
I recall Mr. Mantee in that movie you mentioned:
Believe it or not that is Adam West (Batman) on the right.
Sorry to be so picky, Joe, but you've called to attention one of my favorite movies. The actor on the right (as "Friday") is called Vic Lundin. Adam West played Mantee's co-astronaut who was killed at the beginning of the movie, and who makes a second appearance in Mantee's dream later on. Lundin is a favorite of Trekkies because he played the very first Klingon to ever appear onscreen, in the first Star Trek series.
Well, I'll be a ding-dang daddy from Klingon Valley! The image I used had the caption that it was Adam West...YIKES.
The good news is that ALL three actors are still with us...no
You know, Joe, the Internet was never completely reliable, and I'm finding that to be the case even more these days. We don't know who is inputting all this information, but I suspect many who do the inputting have no idea who and/or what it is they are writing about, and just type in words from whatever source they have in front of them, without a clue as to its content or meaning.
In any event, Robinson Crusoe on Mars is a really nifty movie, starring three real babes. And that's a fact.
Judith, I'll just have to be a bit more careful in my research...and double check where possible. I've caught some errors in the past especially with birth dates. Thanks.
That photo of the sharp-looking men with Jane Wyman - and all I noticed was "How regal Karloff looks..." It's a shame James Bond was brought out about 1935 because I know who I'd have nominated for his first roles. "My name is Bond. Karloff Bond." And he'd be facing Spectre in a cape. "I AM... Count... Spectre..."
