Fox Cancels " 24 "

I have never seen the program except when channel surfing or seeing ads for it. It is the type of program I avoid.

I got through seasons 1 and 2 and those were on DVD. After that what was already a stretch of a plot line became even more so and I quit.

My dad enjoyed the show and in 2007, we watched Season 5 together. If we couldn't watch together we talked each weekend about it. I think it remains one of the best seasons of the series. Gregory Itzin was great as the psychotic president. Season 6 was pretty lackluster but Season 7 came roaring back and was quite the roller coaster ride.

This season the show is showing its age and I am not surprised to see it being canceled.

But I will always remember Season 5 with fondness.
