Thank you everyone, I've not had access to the internet. I had a lovely birthday and it being a 'big one' for me I got extra special gifts off Chris and the kids, actually I discovered that Libby has an eye for picking out jewellry, all with the artful eye of borrowing it one day. For years I'd wanted an amber ring, a dress ring and I saw one in Bayeax, I bought it with my birthday money, gave it Chris for safe keeping, had a sit down on a bench whilst the kids went for sweets. They came back with a pendant and earrings which matched the ring. It was Libby who made the choice. Once I've got around to loading up the pictures, after washing and ironing, etc I'll up load a picture.

Thanks for posting the picture Christine, we had a wonderful time, the kids have such vivid memories of the prison and the questions Libby is still asking about the French kings and Napoleon, she's such an inquring mind.

Thank you for the Charles Boyer Wendy, I've not had much time to miss him but it's sure good to see him now I'm back. Kingme, I'm glad you're gaining an appreciation of Boyer, I shall repay the compliment and watch more Rita Hayworth. It's always good to see Charlie Chaplin Moira, thank you.

CharlieChaplinFan - I really wanted to say thank you for introducing me the world of CHARLES BOYER he is an amazing actor - I thought he was good in Tales of Manhattan - but, the more I started to watch him ... I really consider him on of Hollywood's Greatest Charmer of all times. I even watched Algiers twice already. He is very easy for me to follow along and I will be watching more of his magic next month. Along with Jack Favell's encouragement and well as yours truly ... I'm now and forevermore a Charles Boyer Fan.

I'm glad we've converted you Kingme.

My hair is redder than when you met me Brenda. I'd just had it coloured to go on holiday, I colour it twice a year, it's quite dark at first, as it fades it becomes more of an auburn/brown shade. I like this colour, it suits me at the start and as it fades and it's so easy to look after.
