31 years ago next week I met "The Bride." We don't always do Valentine's Day but it is a good time to tell her how much she means to me and saved me from spending my life alone.
27 years of marriage and two children later she still loves me. (Unbelievable.) She's wonderful and I couldn't imagine life without her.
And she is by far the silliest person I know. With a kazoo band and a silly string fight for a 50th birthday party she pretty much takes the lead there.
Lucky me!!!!!

A woman on the news that a nice to do for Valentine's Day would be to write a love note with a quote from their favorite movie. I turned to The Bride and said "Now we don't have to go to the bank."
What is the line you'd write on their note?
(I'm wondering how many of her friends will have any idea what I am talking about.)

The same one I say everyday (and have since 1994):
I love you, Honey Bunny.

Next Saturday a local theater is showing "The Princess Bride." There may be a good size group of friends attending. I'm sure there will be several not-so-silent voices sharing that line as it comes. (And probably many others.)
