Thanks for the reminder, Chris! I'll have my dancing shoes on for Way Out West, and maybe I'll be sneaking out to the kitchen for a way-past-midnight snack for Saps at Sea and A Chump at Oxford.

Here is a nice website with a charming group of photos taken aboard the Ida May yacht. Saps at Sea indeed:

Great pictures. Stan and Ollie were such great friends and these help show that friendship.

I thought they were so cute! I love how some of them are sort of staged and others are real candids, but in all they look so happy.

And so it begins.

24 hours of the boys start at 8pm tonight. 16 premieres of their short films scattered throughout the night and day. Oh no, I'm out of M&Ms.

If we don't have school tomorrow because of the weather, I hope the kids will stick with me and watch. I may have to use force. Image

We're supposed to get snow today so it may be slow going. The "BMT"* index is rising. They closed the schools two hours early. They did that this morning before it even started.

If you think of anything else let me know before I get there. I'm not making two trips. :)

*BMT = Bread, milk and toilet paper.

and the thought for the day:

We'll be friends until we are old and senile. Then we'll be new friends.

Chris, I am trying to make Felix a Laurel and Hardy fan:

What is he chasing? It looks like "The Midnight Patrol" was on. He'll have to sit down and watch. He certainly is spunky. Now, if Felix could see "Laughing Gravy" he might like that one.

BTW, I checked my recordings. I got an EBS test right at the end of one. If they could have waited one more minute I would have missed it.

Sheesh.

If it was chicken gravy, he would try to eat the screen.

He's chasing a ball made from tinfoil, one of his favorite toys (vs. the expensive ones I bought him).

i can't tell you how i hate those things!! They always seem to pop up in my FAVORITE movies I'm trying to record. NEVER in the ones I don't care about. I think an evil genie must program them.
