I want to share with you this photo in which Agnes Moorehead appears so, so elegant, classy and beautiful (during the late '50s or early '60s?)

The Epitome of everything beautiful in a woman....

Oh Fernando,

Thank you so much for showing everyone Agnes Moorehead as she actually lived her life - as a fine lady...
This photo shows that a Character Actress was also a STAR!!!!!!!

You have triggered lots of memories for me today; and I don't know whether to laugh or cry - - it's all so very emotional.
I'm happy that she is remembered as Endora, as that allowed her to be often glamourous! And, her stage performances were done with an evening gown and jewelry; so she can be viewed as just as 'la glamore' as the Gabors... She'd die if she knew I'd compared her to them, but she'd laugh also. Agnes had several pieces of Jolie Gabor jewelry...

Fernando, I love you for this!!

You are very welcome and thank you Larry.

The first recollections of Agnes Moorehead during my childhood were her shenaningans as the witty, elegant, sophisticated, slightly dismissive Endora. So she's always been the epitome of sophistication and class to me. She also looked ravishing wearing the attires she used for her theatrical piece "Don Juan in Hell".

But I had never seen this glamorous photo; I wish a better resolution version of it was available....

I've posted many glamorous photos of AM over the years. :) This one is actually one of mine -- I made it available online a few years ago, and one never knows what may happen then. Here's a copy from my original scan:

This is a publicity photo from her theatrical work of the early 1960s; I'd put it at 1962.

And, here is a print ad AM did for her Alma Mater, wearing the same outfit, probably from the same photo shoot. It appeared on the inside cover of the January 1963 issue of Theatre Arts magazine, while she was working on Broadway:
