Apparently there was a birthday party for Ursula Andress in Rome yesterday, given by her son Dmitri... It took place in the Borghese Gardens - a great place to be...
Gina Lollobrigida, Anita Ekberg, Claudia Cardinale and Bo Derek were there. I'd love to see that picture!

Wow ... what a lineup for her honor ... Larry!

The photo that made Birthday gal Joan Crawford stay home forever, taken in 1974, with Rosalind Russell. She was 68. (looks like bad lighting to me)

Hi Joe,

I think they both died within months of this picture.

Poor Roz - pumped full of cortizone to alleviate her rheumatism & arthritis - this puffs one up and thus her appearance.
I think Joan's wig was asscue and that's what she was perturbed about.

These two had come a long way from being photographed lovingly by Hurrell and Clarence Bull. They were set up by money desperate paps, bent on a bad picture.

After 1972, Paulette Goddard would not allow any photographs that were not properly lit and posed. I'm not sure there are many of her in later life.
