Could we please limit this to humor?

I specifically requested in the original post: "Please do not post any political, racist or religious material."

Many people's political/social beliefs are laughable but this thread is intended to elicit instant smiles, an occasional chortle and some rare laughs to brighten a day.

I looked up Meme on the Internet only to find out my pronunciation is incorrect. (Meem)
Trying to find a polite way to say, just because you want this thread your way, doesn't make it so.
A meme can encompass more than just an image and doesn't have to be only humorous.
There are five, unless I'm missing someone, who are in charge of Silver Screen Oasis.
For the most part, Lomm is the one who gets involved.
TikiSoo has helped and advised me at least once,which I appreciate.
I cannot recall any political, racist or religious posts lately.
A recent post gave everyone something to think about.

It is common netiquette that the originator of a thread may set out limits on the general nature of the discussion.

Decent people observe those requests out of basic courtesy.

Any reasonable person will observe such limits also because they are free to create new threads which welcome material which might be deemed objectionable in existing threads.

I posted that reminder because this thread is now more than ninety pages long and many will have not read the original post or they read it but forgot in the passing of time.

Three of the last ten memes posted are political statements.

It remains that all users are perfectly free to create a thread for the posting of shallow-minded cheap shots concerning things named on Facespace/TwiX/TicTacky as fashionable targets for unreasoning hatred.

Guess I am not a decent person, nor do I believe in netiquette.
To me this is a public forum.
