They keep taking it down, but it keeps coming back! If you like Eric Johnson (or great playing) this is probably his best live performance, done for Austin City Limits in 1988. Recorded tapes of this performance were eagerly scarfed up by rabid fans until the eventual DVD release. Click on these while they're here!

WARNING: This embed contains music, but is actually a UK commercial intended to convey visual comedy, and is rated somewhere north of PG13; trust me, I won't make a habit of these, but this one was too good not to share!

Thanks, but I don't want to have sex.
Nope, no more booze for me.
Sorry, but you're not really my type.
Good evening officer, isn't it lovely out tonight?
Oh, I just couldn't. No one wants to hear me sing.
You're right; I can't jump over that table.

Cheers

In a MOROSE MOOD this autumnal Saturday morning in the
City By The Bay, I'm compiling a list of of my Top 10 love-sick
"cry in your beer" (although not at 10:00 a.m.!) songs ...
... starting with the Linda Ronstadt version
of "Love Has No Pride" ...

... featuring Linda's extreme miniskirt, and "little Andy Gold"
(who was in my class in 5th Grade in North Hollywood!)
on piano and backup vocals
