There are a lot of great scenes in this one and that is among them.

Among many funny scenes I like the one early on when Garner is having lunch and they change the prices. Garner, in reply, "if this keeps up I'm gonna go broke about 2:30 this afternoon."

Joan Hackett and her dress on fire. Jack Elam blowing up fish. It's fun all around.

It's so nice seeing Jack Elam in a comedy, playing a funny coward instead of a mean and nasty coward, lol.

He has the best line in the movie when he explains his previous job to Garner: "I was the horse holder at Madame Orr's house."

Has anyone ever seen him cleaned up? I swear, that is the dirtiest looking man in the movies.....

I saw Elam in a noir movie hwere he had a small part. He even wore a suit. Not handsome but he could clean up.
