Very interesting -- the aunt of a childhood friend used to go with Buddy (then "Lenny") Hackett when they were at New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn. I guess I can understand it -- he is kind of pudgy cute, isn't he? As I heard it, he was always the funny one, and rather potty-mouthed even then.

Maybe it's a Brooklyn-thing, Judith, but that picture of Buddy made me wonder whether he, Harvey Lembeck and Sid Melton were brudders.
And is James Coburn related to Mr. Spock?

Pristine color print of Yvonne De Carlo and Robert Stack out on the town

You can almost hear their laughter, hear the clink of the ice in the glasses, and smell the heady perfume that Yvonne de Carlo is undoubtedly wearing, Mongo. I'm betting that is a Kodachrome color print, which Kodak just ceased to make several weeks ago. All is digital now...and that's good, right?
Thanks so much for posting that dazzling photo. I can't say that I'm a great fan of either actor, but there is something so touching about seeing this pair looking so vividly young and alive, if only in a photo.

Thank you Moira, I couldn't have described this photo any better myself. De Carlo and Stack literally exude having a delightful night on the town in Hollywood U.S.A.
It's a shame it all came to an end.
