Here's a lovely photo of TCM Researcher Alexa Foreman, Peggy Cummins (at the festival to introduce Gun Crazy) and Vice President of Talent, Darcy Hettrich. Ms. Hettrich was responsible for the Doris Day voiceover on her retrospective that ran during her Star of the Month Week.

Some nosy showoff was nudging her way into the photo between Peggy Cummins and Darcy Hettrich.

Christi,

That scarf you are wearing in the picture looks great. It is a terrific color for you.

I'm guessing it came from the SueX2 Collection!

Chisty, thanks for all you've shared in this thread with us. Great work! You look very good in the different pixs and the Hepburn gown from Sabrina must be the most elegant and classy evening dress ever created. Just to escort a woman dressed in it would be and out of this world experience

Maven, girl, so do you!
Show-biz Christy-----

Lynn, that partiular scarf is a partial- silk pashmini from India that I purchased at a stall/tent in front of the Prado Museum in Madrid in 2006. I love turquoise and peach. But I also love the deep purple-red flowers embroidered on it. It's the scarf that I like to think is most moi..

And, Lynn, I don't think I can tell you how much I love that sexy Joel McCrea avatar. I will be removed from the boards forever, and Sue Sue's Pink bubble will be burst forever!
As soon as I finish this email, I am scrolling back to look at it again...and again...

Feaito, thank you, dear, for such sweet words from so very far away. Nos vemos...

PHOTO OP FROM THE PHOTO SHOP

Coco Christy...a la Chanel..

This photo was snapped right before I walked into Club TCM. They were taking everybody's portrait. A nice TCM FF 2012 touch of class for passholders.

I had so much fun shopping for this outfit, thinking about the excitement of the first official day of the festival, and watching TCM Cafe Society strut their glittery stuff everywhere. Passholders enjoy dressing up and primping for photo ops just as much, if not more, than some of the established stars on the runway. And I am no exception!

Christi,

I think that is, by far, your best red carpet outfit yet. Notice I said yet.

And thanks for liking my avatar. I did it just for Joel being SOTM.

Lynn, thank you so much. And I am so tickled that adorably-buckskinned Joel McCrea is on the same page of my thread as my best red-carpet ensemble "yet."

Sue Sue, I have one question. How did you manage to run from event to event in heels? :D

It's important to spend a little time shopping for the right pair of "gaminators" to keep those lovely limbs in motion.

I enjoyed a cushy pair of black two-inchers that were made of a cushy-lycra/spandex material that sort of bounced as I went along. They didn't pinch, but conformed to the friction and pressure of running around on terrazo and concrete.

The brand name is LifeStride.

When you don't choose a comfortable pair, it always affects your smile quotient and slows down your ability to move at the speed of light.
