I always think of him as the incredibly boring and stern principal in The Bachelor and the Bobbysoxer, introducing Cary Grant to the nubile young teenagers who burst into applause at Cary's good looks....much to Halton's consternation.

Terrific shot! I just bought the DVD and still rather enjoyed the film. A lot of cast members I'd forgotten were in the film.

I can just so imagine Holloway's one-of-a-kind voice coming out that frog's-head!

That photo of Tracy peering out from the flowers is making me sigh.
I just love the expression on his face, which I think can be interpreted at least 101 different ways. Oh, to be tucked in under that lei!
The picture of Patricia Breslin is also very interesting. To me, it could easily be labeled: "Generic actress of the 1960s." Several other names came to mind before I read the caption with her name.

jdb - you read my mind. I couldn't post about the Tracy photo because I couldn't figure out how to describe his expression.

Joe, In the photo of the young Lucille Ball you posted for St. Patrick's day, strangely enough, she resembles Vivien Leigh!!

How to describe Tracy's expression. Well --
We could start with amused, quizzical, sheepish, guarded, confrontational, challenging, peeved, resigned, macho, boyish . . . and go on from there. Oh, those Irish eyes.

Fernando, ironically Lucille Ball was considered and tested for the role of Scarlett O'Hara, of which Vivien Leigh won, of course.
