Re: Someone's having a birthday!
Oh wow! What a wonderful surprise receiving these warm birthday wishes, and if I may add the perfect topper to a really lovely day. My heartfelt thanks to my terrific new friends here at SSO. I'm still relatively new here but already feel friendships developing - which is good because where I live, it's tough to find people really interested in discussing classic films. And a special thanks to Moira for all her dedicated work in keeping SSO the best film forum on the internet. And my special appreciation for her help in posting those George Raft photos. I'm still somewhat backwards when it comes to computer techincal stuff (I just recently graduated from those manual typewriters we used in college journalism courses), so I deeply appreciate Moira for helping me to share these Raft images that unfortunately came my way too late to get into my G.R. bio. And Alison, of course, thank you so much for your help in this.
Again, to each of you, my deepest and most profound thanks for ending my day on such a joyous note.

Please accept my heartfelt good wishes for your Birthday, Western Guy. I must admit I have not seen your posts so I gather your main interest genre is other than mine. But that is what this site is all about. Diversity of interests and love of classic films. I wish you well in this friendly home of ours at SSO. I visit here every day and mostly enjoy Mongo's Candid entries. I mostly participate in musical entertainment and it's stars. Have fun

Thanks for the kind word, Uncle Stevie. Agree with you completely. We each have different interests and preferences when it comes to entertainment and the pleasure of this board is that each of us can share his/her particular passion.
And I definitely agree about the Candids! Great fun.
