Down to Earth Movie back in 1947, was cut about 4 minutes of air time to remove these scenes (production photos) that you see above you and I was stunned by that. I learned something new when I acquired these photos that I just shared with you. Movie original ran for 101 minutes - it's could had been a 105 minutes movie instead. I find this quite interesting to know ...

Kelly and Ford were happy to be on hand for this occasion ...

Rita on a date with Kirk Douglas - Early 50's













They both were divorced at the time this photograph was taken and they went on a few dates together and the speculation ran that these two might hitch up for marriage - Rita's 4th Marriage and Kirk's 2nd Marriage. At that time - Rita was on her comeback film - Affair in Trinidad and Kirk's career was sky-rocking at the time of these pictures were taken and Hollywood was a-buzzing that these two might become the next Power Couple in place. Photographers was scrambling for these photos and everyone thought Rita Hayworth will make Kirk her fourth Husband ... turned out that was all false. Kirk later married Anne Buydens in 1954 and they had a long and happy marriage together and Rita had two more unhappy marriages and the rest was history ...
