You are right about Keye Luke about Oland here. I read that somewhere in the internet a while back ... a couple of years ago.
Regarding Miss Cansino your statement is true. It was one of her early role and in that movie she did not have much to work on either. She just started in the film (working wise) industry in 1935 that put her at the age of 17 at the time that she did Charlie Chan in Egypt.
I watch it every other year at a friend place in Vancouver B.C. and she is a Rita Hayworth Collector too. She have over 40 films either on VHS and DVD ... and she is converting 7 VHS tapes to DVD and one of the VHS tape contains Charlie Chan in Egypt.
