Yeah buddy, and the final scene with Sterling and the horses and Doll . . . hard to top the ending of Asphalt Jungle, imo.

Andree, some of my posts are being deleted and I'd like to get to the bottom of it. As a test i am going to report your above post as offensive and sexist and borderline pornographic. And see what happens.Andree wrote: ↑March 14th, 2023, 9:35 pm Yep, poor Dix ending up as a human hay bale. Ouch. He was pretty rough hewn, but he stuck to his principles, at least
as many principles as a crook could have. I still get a kick out of Herr Doktor and his unfortunate addiction to pretty
young women. That was his fatal flaw. Should have waited till he got to Mexico.
I suppose so. You can't be arrested for what you're thinking. And the guy believes he's going on a long trip to Cleveland,
I guess it all matters what you say and who you say it to. No doubt a serious verbal threat to a specificIntrepid37 wrote: ↑March 17th, 2023, 11:27 pm
What if I say it out loud? Could I be arrested under some kind of "creep" law?
Or is that just in England?
I haven't heard that one in years. Always got a kick out of the lyrics. Four guys in dinner jackets and bowties
An older guy saying he likes pretty girls is what I think we were talking about.Andree wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 12:24 amI guess it all matters what you say and who you say it to. No doubt a serious verbal threat to a specificIntrepid37 wrote: ↑March 17th, 2023, 11:27 pm

person might get one into trouble. I think there still might be a few places where cussing in public is a
misdemeanor. **** that ****.

Lord have mercy, who knew this existed???? (Better Living Through Chemistry indeed lol) Thank you SO MUCH for uploading it! I will try to find some way to listen! . . .
I just watched the 1963 TV version. Not bad, IMO.
At one moment in the story, Svengaliesque director Loui Zakin (a Satanic Alfred Drake) barks orders for dressing his "Trilby": Elsie Brinkmann (Tuesday Weld):
"You, get to Jean-Louis! I want him to dress her -- and make no mistake, it will always be in white! . . . For Friday, the back . . . will beeee . . . like this (drawing a U-shape with his hands on Elsie's back) . . . If you can't get it ready by Friday, let him refit one of the Rita Hayworth . . . uhh, one of the Kim Novak things, right?"
