Henry Fonda and ex-wife Maggie Sullavan died on the same date, but 12 years apart, how uncanny.

MongoII, I did not know that today is Yvonne Craig's birthday! That picture you shared with us ... I have it personally signed by her at an autograph session while visiting San Francisco back in 1990's. She is a very sweet lady and generous with fans from all walks of life regarding her iconic role on Star Trek and the 3rd and last season of Batman.

Joseph Cotten is 4 years older than James Mason, I'd never have believed that. James Mason always seems to play either men old before their years or maturer men. Joseph Cotten seemed to span two sets of leading ladies, years apart an example being Claudette Colbert and Jennifer Jones.

Ah, that's why I don't recognize Mongo I -- I don't spend much time at TCM because it drives me BONKERS that if I try to reply to a post, I get directed back to the main page instead and I have to look up the thread again. Plus you can't preview a post to see how it reads and to make sure links work.

Is TCM EVER going to fix these problems? Or is this nonsense part of some secret policy on their part?

Gertrude Hoffman! She was always up to some mischief with Gale Storm on My Little Margie -- in fact, frequently she instigated it! ;)

TCM has posted a timeline within the last day for the different fixes. Till then, we'll have to keep muddling through.

I don't know who Joan Blackman is, but she is gorgeous!

Paula, I've been on the TCM boards for many years, and had my ups and downs with the site.
Set in my ways, I just couldn't abandon them. I have no trouble logging in and posting.

I recall Gertrude Hoffman as the bitter old woman serving a life sentence in "Caged".
