Hi,
Wow, I had no idea Tommy Rall was still alive...
He was a great friend of Ann Miller and was her dance partner in "Kiss Me, Kate"...
He had been on Broadway before MGM signed him on and then returned there in the late 50's.....
Happy Birthday, Tommy!!!
Also, are Oscar, Marlene and Sydney off somewhere having a "smoke off"???.....

.
Believe it or not, I always wondered about the comment made by Tom Drake in the final segment about their antics at the swamp. I never realized there was a deleted scene dealing with the swamp.

Re: *CANDIDS*
Oh, I must have missed that sad news about Doe Avedon, Joe. She was very lovely and Richard Avedon might not have had the high fashion career without her.
The model-as-muse in a high fashion shot for her then-husband, Richard Avedon.
I remember being enchanted by her in Jigsaw (1949), an obscure and odd film graced by her lithe presence. Though she was barely an actress, she sure had presence. It was completely understandable how she inspired Funny Face (and reportedly had earlier helped to inspire Audrey Hepburn's look for much of her career--though I tend to think that Audrey was a natural anyway).
