While not an old photo, I loved the following "Glimpse of Golden Age Hollywood" (and in this case about Linda Darnell, starting at the 1:27 mark) that Carol Burnett relayed to Stephen Colbert while she took his Colbert Questionert last week on his program. I think you folks will like it too...

Nice photo of Lombard but there is sadness there as well, since the photo must have been taken shortly before her plane crashed on January 16th, 1942.
According to a reddit posting, this was taken at the war bond rally she attended in Indiana just before her death.
