I enjoy Ballad of the Green Berets, but recognize it for mostly BS. But not near as much BS/propaganda as the John Wayne movie. I served in Airborne at Ft. Bragg, NC and in Vietnam and worked with Green Berets upon occasion.

Figured this one was fitting, considering my motorcycle crash this past Thursday.

Yeah, I'm pretty much okay, except for my very bruised ribs, my road rash and that little bone in my right hand the x-ray tech said I fractured.

(...although surprisingly and thankfully, my newer Triumph I was riding wasn't damaged all that much...one new headlight unit and a new set of handlebars is all I'll have to replace on it...already have them ordered in fact)

Although my follow-up doctor's visit is this coming Thursday and when I'll know for sure, I think I might be able to be back on the tennis courts again within a couple of weeks.

(...hopefully of course, and although that COULD just be all the Extra Strength Tylenol I'm taking right now speaking)
