NO, not Keys of the Kingdom. The character of the star as a boy is orphaned and the character of the star of Keys of the Kingdom as a boy is orphaned, other than that, the 2 plots are totally different.

9. There are some things they do have in common, the decade the film was made , the studio and a cast member.

It sounds like Son Of Fury with the beautiful Tyrone Power and the beautiful Gene Tierney as the native girl, both of them were at the height of their beauty.

BRAVO, Bagel on a Plate.
YES, Son of Fury, The Story Of Benjamin Blake .
Tyrone and Gene were so gorgeous in this film. Gene Tierney. doing that hula dance was terrific, Tyrone was gorgeous no matter what film he was in but in this one they both are so young and beautiful.
Great cast in this 1942 FOX film.
Tyrone Power, Gene Tierney, George Sanders. Frances Farmer, John Carradine, Elsa Lanchester, Harry Davenport and Roddy McDowall as Tyrone's character as a child.
A Very enjoyable film.
So glad you know this film too Bagel. Great job, it's your turn
