Programming Challenge #8 - Please Vote

Post by Lzcutter »

The TCM Programming Challenge. this one is #8, is now in the Voting Stage.

So, if you have a moment please follow this link, read the schedules and vote for the Challenge schedule of your choice.

Kyle has done a great job of moderating this one and with ten participants, there should be schedules that will appeal to all:

This late into the week we have more participants than we do votes. Even those votes have come from the participants.

Please help. A schedule is waiting for you.

(Brought to you by "Adopt-a-Schedule, Inc." a division of the TCM Programming Challenge. Hollywood, CA.)

Polls Close Tomorrow Night

Post by Lzcutter »

Just a friendly reminder that the latest Programming Challenge over at TCM ends tomorrow night at Midnight (as Saturday passes into Sunday).

If you have not voted, please follow this link:

http://forums.tcm.com/jive/tcm/thread.j ... 2&tstart=0

You can vote either in the thread or by sending Kyle a PM over at TCM City.

We had some new participants this time around as well as many familiar faces (sugarpuss, movieman1957, filmlover and others).

These challenges require some work and one of the best rewards is acknowledgment by our peers.

So, please follow the link and vote.

Down off my soapbox now.

I spent time reading through them all (phew! - wipes brow) but they are all so good and none really jumped out at me. I promise to review them again and vote tomorrow.

Just for the record our own Lynn won the challenge. She will be moderating the next one whenever that comes about.

Congratulations to Kyle for having the strength of character to host the "sinfully good" challenge so nimbly, and to all the participants, especially to Chris (Movieman1957), Sugarpuss, our erstwhile member Patful and especially to Lynn (lzcutter) for winning the Grand Prize!

Great work and thanks for making for such enjoyable reading on the TCM boards, everyone.
