Happy Holidays, Everyone!
It's a pretty mild, bright and un-Christmas-y kind of day, but I suppose we'll be having more of those until Big Business stops innundating us with carbon monoxide.
Anyway, Best Wishes to All.
I'm happily playing with my new toys: a digital camera and an iPod Nano.
The camera is giving me trouble - so many icons on that tiny screen, and so puzzlingly few buttons to push. I'm not a camera person, so this will take some time to figure out. The iPod, however, is loads of fun, and I've already loaded with with selections from Bobby Darrin, Dusty Springfield and Les Paul & Mary Ford, just for fun. The sound coming from this thing is so very much better than that from the very first version of iPod, which I had long ago and consigned to a drawer, gong back to my trusty WalkMan because it sounded better. "Oh the shark, Babe, Has such teeth, Dear . . . . " Shooby-dooby doo.
And another gift after today - a three day workweek. Yippeee!
