Here's a link to a series of video interviews with Abe Polonsky that were filmed shortly before he died in 1999. These interviews are six in number and about 20 minutes in length. Whether you agree with his politics or not, Abe was an acerbic, fascinating character who was a brilliant writer and could have had a great career if not for the Blacklist. Watch how he unnerves the guy at the start of the interview.

Typical Polonsky: He asked a certain writer who was doing research and called him up, "Where did you get my number?" The caller stammered that so-and-so gave it to him. Polonsky: "See, you're not too smart. You should have looked in the phone book- I've always been there!"
