Best ending line, ever

I just added a quote to my avatar, and it made me start thinking. What do YOU consider to be the best last line ever in a movie? I love "Oh, Jerry, don't let's ask for the moon; we have the stars" from "Now, Voyager". A friend loves the last line in "Pretty Woman", "She saved him right back!"

How about you?

The closing line for Casablanca is quite famous for coming from an iconic movie, but also because it is often mis-quoted.

The actual line is:
"Louie, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

But it is often quoted as either, "This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship" or "I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship."

The line was not in the original script and was dubbed in during post-production. Smart move by somebody that has stood the test of time.

"The Maltese Falcon": "It's the stuff that dreams are made of."

"Some Like It Hot": "Nobody's perfect."

"Chinatown": "Forget it, Jake. It's Chinatown."

My favorite comes at the end of Meet John Doe, when Edward Arnold's political machine has been conquered again. James Gleason turns to Arnold and says, "There you are, Norton: the people. Try and lick that!"

One of my favorites has already been said

Nobody's perfect from Some Like it Hot

I do like the ending of Casablanca and Now Voyager too.

This is my perfect one, it's from a title card from the very last silent, the end of an era

'What's the use in trying?' the gamine to the tramp

'Buck up - never say die. We'll get along'

with that they walk hand in hand into the sunset. The first time the tramp ever walked off with a companion and the end of his life on film.

It's been awhile since I've seen this one, but what I think might be the last lines of Body and Soul (1947) have stayed in my memory. The gangster comes up to John Garfield after he's won the fight and asks:
"What makes you think you can get away with this?"
Garfield replies:
"What are you gonna do? Kill me? Everybody dies."

Moira you reminded me of another John Garfield movie that has one of my favorite ending (or almost ending) line:

"In the end, you pay for what you are."

Hi everyone,

Can anybody top the last line of perhaps the best loved movie of all time?

"There's no place like home!" -The Wizard of Oz (1939)

As always,
