I'd respect Mother Levant much more if she was dressed in her own version of her daughters' dresses . . . how identity-crushing!mongoII wrote: Oscar Levant is visited by wife June Gale and daughters Amanda, Lorna and Marcia on the set of "An American in Paris"

Get out of town! Verree Teasdale was married to Adolphe Menjou? You learn something new every day here.

Wow, that's an understatement . .mongoII wrote: Miss Teasdale resembles Hedda Hopper
And I'm sure if you rang Hedda up about the subject, she could also have given you 'chapter & verse' about all the Menjous' personal business . . .

What a great picture of Jay Silverheels. Never seen a pic of him out of costume as Tonto.
Also, Norma Talmadge. She seems to be one of the silent stars least remembered. A favorite of mine. Bought a talking film and I thought her voice was OK.

Great pic, Mongo!
It's just too bad that recent birthday-boy Jay Silverheels wasn't in frame for it; I seem to recall he played Ladd's "blood brother".
