Charles Coburn and Dame May Whitty sharing a birthday...why does that seem right?
And Gena Rowlands...the archetype of the post-studio actor. What a life, including a long marriage to a difficult genius. Thank you, Gena, for allowing LOVE STREAMS - the Cassavetes movie - finally to being released for the DVD home-viewing audience to enjoy.

Birthday boy Audie Murphy, plays the role of proud pop at the Universal International film studio barber shop. His wife, Pamela, lends encouragement to James Shannon, 2, while barber Sol Jacoby cuts up. Audie holds his other son, Terry Michael, 3, who's all slicked up after a turn in the chair. I agree with Larry, your pics are so good, rare, and ideal for movie lovers...Jane Russell looks great, as AM, (whom I first saw as a kid as Endora in BEWITCHED! ), Maureen Stapleton( who was good friend with JAN STERLING, as Jane Powell, Ann Rutherford,Betty Garrett were..)

Um, Joe, is Mitchum even
trying to get the birdie over the net? Or is he practicing some unique form of laidback Tai Chi that he developed under the influence of some bio-chemical substances?
