If I didn't know you I'd have no reason to be in Kansas. (But that is a very good reason.)

(If you haven't yet look in your box.)

Here in Emerald City ...

We had quite a variety of weather today ... first it was foggy this early morning, 10 degrees cooler than normal, breezy, and past 3 hours its has been raining Mountain Lions and German Shepards ... then now the Sun is shining and still 10 degrees cooler than normal. From 11am to 1pm ... it was so dark and cloudy ... it's looks more like 9pm in the fall than 11am in the summer.

Anyway, that's Seattle Weather ... you get little bit of everything under the Sun!

It sounds like CT. weather, kingme!

We are on the coastline, and it was supposed to rain all day today...but at 7:30, it was just foggy. Then, as I took my morning walk, the fog lifted, just a little above the river, covering the top of the hillside.... it looked like Brigadoon, I swear! Beautiful. The rest of the day has been as sunny and pleasant as can be, at 70 degrees.

Winter is here at last. After the wettest May on record we have now settled into our regular winter of cool nights (around 15 deg C) and pleasant sunny days ( about 25 deg C), (About 58 to 78 deg F)

Enjoy the cool temps, Fossy! We are heading into summer here, but it's been cold and rainy most days... I am hoping for a little warm sunny weather for a change.

Heat index of 113 in Baltimore. I see on the news Kansas was 118. But I'll still have to take a sweater to church on Sunday because it has to be a refrigerator there. It will be 101 tomorrow and Sunday.

Yikes! I knew we were lucky here on the shore of southeastern CT, at 90+ things are looking good in comparison. Our humidity is a drag though.

We don't have any Virginians or Ohio-ans do we? What a terrible storm.

I'm not sure about Virginians and all but we had some awful storms. About 500,000 people were without power in the Balt/DC metro area. Some fatalities near DC. No word when the power will be restored. We're good but family and some friends are spending the day without power.

People don't know how to drive at an intersection with the lights out. They are pretty obnoxious.

I'm sorry to hear about the weather down there, Chris! Do you have power there, or are you on a generator or something?
