Waterloo Bridge (1940) coming to DVD in January 2009

Vivien Leigh's personal favorite of all her films, Waterloo Bridge, is
finally getting a nice new DVD release from Warners. I can't wait!

Other titles being released that month by the studio include The
Yellow Rolls Royce, Far from the Madding Crowd and the sixties
version of Goodbye, Mr Chips.

Waterloo Bridge is about the only currently scheduled January release that appeals to me.

I wish Warner would finally get around to that Garfield box set. Surely it would sell better than that Romance collection they're hyping.
