I agree, Tyrone Power was very handsome.

Handsome? HE KILLS OLDER WOMEN!! What are you TALKING about?!! How can you possibly approve Tyrone after how shabby he treats Marlene?!!
Of course, I don't understand why Ingrid runs off with Paul Henreid either. "Take Bogart! MY GOSH!! Paul's going to run off with a huge number of Hollywood beauties in his next dozen films, Ingrid! Don't get on that plane with him! Have a beautiful friendship with Rick-Bogie instead!!"
I yell that to her ALL THE TIME, but she never listens. And now you and Tyrone. My my my...

I know what you mean. It has always bothered me that Tyrone left Lana! Poor Lana, everything I've read says that she was head-over-heels about the guy! And, then to end up marrying Anabella! Well, I will just never understand that one (when he could have had Lana).

Dear James,
No, no, no - you have it backwards....
Tyrone was already married to Annabella, when he had the affairs with Judy Garland and then Lana Turner.
He left them all for Linda Christian and that didn't work out either after awhile.

Wow! You mean he could have had Lana and Judy after Annabella! What a sap. I have seen pictures of Linda, and she was lovely, but come on! Maybe he didn't want the competition. Both of them could have easily outstaged him. Thanks for setting me straight; I think.

I don't know, Knitty. In terms of sheer symmetry of male beauty in this array, I'd go with Guy Madison.
However, in terms of the "It" factor -- that will take some closer study! Looks aren't everything, are they? I'm thinking of a photo of Edward Arnold I posted last year -- now that was a sexy picture.

Garbomaniac, for sheer handsomeness of face, Marlon Brando. For rugged handsomeness, Gable wins hand's down.
Bodies, a tie between Rudy and Richard Gere. If Errol Flynn hadn't puffed his chest out so much I might have gone for him.
