It is just about a year ago that we adopted our current tiger striped tabby - dark grey with green eyes. Last summer our beloved orange tabby boy passed away after 12 years. 12 years before that our calico girl had been with us for 16 years. It is too bad our animal friends can't be with us longer.

You have my sincere condolences. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I often find that the passing of a four-legged friend makes me feel emptier than the loss of a two-legged one because they are so innocent.
