I've been listening to the original Broadway cast album of Kander and Ebb's The Scottsboro Boys, one of their best scores, in my opinion, and a great show, which I saw at the Young Vic in London in 2013. In NY and London, Brandon Victor Dixon played Haywood Patterson, one of the most tragic of the boys. Here he sings one of the shows best songs: "Go Back Home."
