^ MARTY ROBBINS is cool. I listen to a lot of Country mixed collections, lots of that 50s stuff...I need that album!

It was my most coveted album as a kid. Gunfighter ballads - what could be better than that!Allhallowsday wrote: ↑March 23rd, 2023, 11:43 pm ^ MARTY ROBBINS is cool. I listen to a lot of Country mixed collections, lots of that 50s stuff...I need that album!

^ It's an old well known song... but seeing that MARTY ROBBINS album excited me 'cause I love great Pop music - in any category - and I love Classic Country anyway!
Re: What are you listening to?
I inherited the “Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs” LP from my step dad.
It is in mono. Purchased the download version in stereo.
Also have “The Drifter” LP in stereo with “Feleena.” All 8:17 minutes.
My favorite song is "A Hundred and Sixty Acres.” All 1:40 in length.
That’s from the “Gunfighter” LP.
Last night I listened to “Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison.”
I prefer it (a little) to the San Quentin album.
