My first record, my dad bought one of those portable record players for my birthday, was Light My Fire, it formed me, made me, I still love the way he sings. He grabs ya, man, and takes ya with him.

This is a bit clearer. If you hang with it there are other songs.

When I was around 14 or so, us young guys invited some some girls over to listen to music and dance. We knew each other from Jr. High school but not that well. There were 8 of us. It wasn't going so well: too much dead silence,,,,,,nervous staring,,,. We would play a song and dance but these were all 3 minute or less songs and that was a major reason for the dead silence and reduction in the energy level. I had a tape loop of the long version of Light My Fire, that would repeat over-and-over again. I said let's dance to another song and put on this tape loop. This really got the party started!

!!!!
Thanks.
Laffite, I’ve been meaning to tell you that I sort of stole an expression of yours that you probably stole, that’s the way it goes, but it is “as all get out.” I love it!
