Laffite, I’ve been meaning to tell you that I sort of stole an expression of yours that you probably stole, that’s the way it goes, but it is “as all get out.” I love it!
That has been around for ages. We used it as kids. It still drew a laugh from me when used in a New Yorker cartoon that appeared within the last 20 years, I would guess. The lead juror announces the verdict with an air and facial look of absolute disgust. "We, the jury, find the dependent guilty as all get out!" The italics were used in the cartoon (as I recall). It's a classic.
