I suspect that Jerry Brown may win this upcoming election. There are plenty of Californians who will likely vote for him because they want the California of the late 1970s (his first go around in office) back. He won't be able to actually do that but it won't matter.
If there is a strong nostalgia vote, Brown will easily win.
