The Silver Screen Oasis

As you know by now, I am a very big Romantic Musical fan and have accumulated hundreds of movies. I would like your recommendations for more. Considering I have almost all the Grayson, Powell, MacDonald, Ginger, Cyd, collections I would like to know which movies you consider to be very good happy and entertaining romantic musicals. Please tell me your favorites.

My current most favorite movie (and it changes every three weeks) is Meet Me In Las Vegas with Dan Dailley and Cyd Charisse.

How do you feel about Judy and Esther?

Wonderful, I love them both but I already own 12 Esther Williams and 11 Judy Garland movies. I was hoping more for the not so popular or prolific but fun to watch. Sometimes a performer only makes a few musical or great romantic comedies. I have a bunch of Rita Hayworth too but some of her films are more noir than fun.

I think you would enjoy June Haver. She made 16 movies and all are readily available.
