The Silver Screen Oasis

I've just heard about the passing of Jenny Tomasin who played kitchen maid Ruby in Upstairs Downstairs. She was for a while in the UK soap Emerdale

Awwww. That is really too bad. I always wanted to applaud Ms. Thomasin for playing Ruby, a very difficult unglamorous character, the actress got absolutely no credit when people talked about the show, but she was absolutely marvelous.
