The name Savoy Brown didn't ring a bell with me. But when I listened to Tell Mama -- Ding, Ding, Ding! I hadn't heard that tune for over 50 years.

I searched for Savoy Brown on the Web after reading about Jackie Lynton, the vocalist who belted out The Ballad of Hank McCain. Lynton briefly fronted Savoy Brown.

^ I think SAVOY BROWN had a revolving lineup except for the founder.
