Crazy about Groucho and Bud Abbott was a fine fellow. Not an astute business mind but a friendly, down-to-earth guy.
BTW Joe: That photo from the set of THE ALAMO. Kinda weird to see such jolly faces on those three main players, considering the dissention that went on between Duke and Widmark . . . and the even stranger relationship between Duke and Harvey.

Stone, I've heard that Abbott was a friendly guy and it's too bad he got a lot of guff from Costello.
It was surprising that Wayne took Harvey under his wing.

What a joy to see such delighted, unguarded affection on Gene Tierney's face in that picture with her dog from the lovely The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Joe. Thanks....if anyone needed some uncritical love from another who didn't care about her looks, her money or her private life, I think it may have been her.
