I was sorta banking on you staying at my place during Lent so's you can learn me how to opperatd this here microwave oven that the landlord gave me so's maybe I'll eat once in a while and stay alive to pay the rent. Had a hankering for hard boiled eggs this morning and put three eggs in that contraption and the eggs exploded.

No expert and microwaves, I don't even use them, never had one, never wanted one.

So have you your landlord reconciled ... or maybe you have a new one. Why don't you invite the landlord over to your apt, order Po sandwiches and saltines and have him/her give you a rundown on the device.

But he did gift me the microwave, so there might be a soft spot hidden somewhere. If you are not keen on Po-Boy sandwiches, Laffite, we can hold out until lunch and order red beans and rice with hot sausage. You usually get your choice between hot sausage and smoked sausage with your red beans. You would probably prefer smoked sausage, but that's your choice and nobody can say otherwise.

I can't stand anything smoked. Take a perfectly piece of food and then smoke it and it turns to Garbage.

Like taking a perfectly good dish of linguini and throwing it against the wall. "Now it's garbage."

I just rented PI, and it doesn't play. So I put in Memento and it won't play either. None of them play. It's the epistemology of loss that takes over after a while.

To play Memento you have to get a disc that plays backwards.
