R.I.P.
Patrick Curtis, who played Melanie’s baby Beau in
Gone With The Wind, has passed away from serious injuries he received in a auto accident on November 9. Curtis was an American film producer, best known for his association with Raquel Welch, whom he married in 1967. Curtis was instrumental in promoting Welch's career, producing a number of movies starring her. The two divorced after six years of marriage. His uncle was Director Billy Wilder. He attended many
GWTW events for several years around the country.
He was the very last member of the
Gone With The Wind cast. He was uncredited in his first role.

Mickey Kuhn, the last surviving
credited cast member of the 1939 film classic
Gone With The Wind, died Sunday at a hospice facility in Naples, FL. He was 90.

Mickey Kuhn had a small role in the movie adaptation of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE. He played the sailor who assists Blanche DuBois (played by his GWTW co-star Vivien Leigh) when she arrives in New Orleans.

Very sad to hear about Barbara Walters, she was definitely one of my role models growing up.
Her Madame Tusseaud's sculpture was mesmerizing. I was struck by what a stunningly beautiful, tiny woman she was.

There are only two stars that I feel should never had died. Sir Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe.
This is not due to fandom. I am a fan of many. No, something mysterious, yet that doesn't come close. The world does not seem right without them. Yes, it's a flight of fancy but somewhere inside of myself ... ... What?

Back in the 80s, Patrick Curtis's sister worked with me. We were having a casual chat about interests and I told her mine was "old movies". She then mentioned her brother Patrick.
