That happens in Heartbreakers.
Not sure if your clue is a plot point or the ending of the film as the Spoiler? If it's a plot point, then my guess is Heartbreakers ?

It's just a plot point, but no, it's not Heartbreakers (although I like that film). This is from a while earlier.
