According to Letterboxd, I've seen more films with music by Steiner than any other composer (163 films).
Update: I found it on Vimeo (via this link: https://www.torontofilmmagazine.com/pos ... ovie-music...)

I saw it last night, very good doc. it is interesting to both musicians and someone like me, whose only knowledge of music is that I like to listen to it.
Some of my favorite Steiner scores-
King Kong (1933) one of my favorite musical moments were the horns and fanfare heard when we see Kong being advertised in the New York theater.

The Informer (1935) A well deserved Oscar winner and one that I always found the music to be one of the most memorable things about the film. The main title music reminds me of Irish folk ballads.

Now Voyager (1942) A sentimental and a bit syrupy theme but works with the soap opera storyline.

A Summer Place (1959) A lush romantic score blends very well with the beautiful photography.

Hello! Was funny to see your name in the credits. Really enjoyed the documentary.

I hope I remember to watch! Will it be repeated later in the evening?
Yes, repeats @12:15 am (ET)
:smiley_clap:

I almost forgot, but remembered it was on just as it was starting!

In King Kong, I like the part of the score when they are in the native village sacrificing Anne to Kong. “Buuuuuuuuum -bug-bum (Kong Kong)”

The Steiner documentary was nice to see on TCM. I watched it and then went to the NBA since all the associated films shown, I have seen multiple times.

Wow, that's definitely a more in depth look than their on-air schedules, and takes a fraction of the time it takes to try accessing the schedule from TCM.com. :smilie_happy_thumbup:

Thanks for the promo, ziggy6708a!

I'm keen on seeing Gold Raiders because The Three Stooges are in it. According to the Internet Movie Database and Wikipedia, it has the distinction of being one of two Stooges feature-length movies with Shemp Howard (the first was Soup to Nuts).
