OK, Let's get it out of the way. 1999 is a year that is much praised by many...except for me. There are some good films, but also a high number of terrible ones, and that latter number includes some praised titles. But most others will and do appreciate it far more than me. The next year up will be 1928.

Lawrence, you have made my day. I never knew that there was a movie called Crazy Fat Ethel, but knowing that there is a sequel called Crazy Fat Ethel 2 restores my faith in humanity!
